A Detailed Map to Guide You
We leverage the experience gained from years of continuous success to ensure your success. Using our six-step methodology, you MAA project manager and team of industry expert’s work with you through each stage:
Implementation Phases
1. Project Initiation
In this phase, essential preparation for a successful project is done: discovery information is gathered, define project scope, prepare a project plan, form a project team, and set up a steering committee. Finally, you make a formal announcement of the project kick-off to the entire company.
2: Analysis
In this phase roles and responsibilities are defined, “AS-IS” business processes are identified, “TO-BE” business process are defined, system configuration is reviewed, prototype planning is discussed, define technical architecture, and legacy data is reviewed
3: Design
Based on our analysis we design the system configuration for specific business process, design additional development requirements, and design conversion strategies and plans. Next a
“Conference Room Pilot” is conducted, which ensures that issues are resolved and system configuration meets business requirements.
4: Development
If enhancements were identified a work plan is established for target development items to adjust for each module and execute actual work in order to change the processes provided as standards by JD Edwards to meet requirements of this system.
Integration testing is also performed to determine the reliability of the enhancements and interfaces. This also allows the developers to perfect the final system.
5: Implementation
A final integrated system test is performed to determine readiness and ensure all business requirements have been covered. Cut over planning is reviewed, migrated development and conversion programs to production environment, review system administration tasks, develop user manuals and conduct final training, and roll out new system to the entire company according to plan.
6: Project Completion
In this phase, the project team and the customer close the project, announce the official closing of the project to the entire company, and analyze the project outputs. Developers evaluate and arrange enhanced programs accordingly.
